    • Anxiety- Managing Yours, Minimizing Your Child’s
Kids are sponges--picking up both our good and bad habits. Dr. John Duffy addressed this topic during his Keynote presentation at the PCN's 19th Parent University, and explained the importance of bringing Mindfulness and Presence to our parenting to help our kids navigate their childhood to become healthy, well-adjusted adults. Finding healthy ways to manage stress goes a long way towards making us better parents. How do you manage your stress?

    • Screen time- how much is too much?
If left unmonitored many kids would spend all afternoon staring at one screen or another (TV, Cell phone, ipad, xbox, etc.). While there are some benefits to relaxing, socializing, and inventing on these platforms, the potential for exposure to negative stereotypes, radiation, and the eye strain and sedentary habits that can result are serious concerns for many adults. How do you manage screen time in your household?
